    Real nice for a replica. Did the fish swim away? Just wondering. My PB isn’t near that size but I was still stoked! We’re so overfished here I always turn the big ones back. Now a big gill way over 10” might not be so lucky.

    Unfortunately no, I kept it because I really didn't know if I wanted to do a skin mount or replica. Had I known off the top that I was going with a replica, I simply would've measured the girth and length and released it.

    Thanks. I have no fish mounted so I know very little about the process. I need to keep a soft tape measure in the boat for checking girth. Maybe I’ll get a good one someday.
