    Default NW Kansas.

Only a 3.5 hr. drive from my home. Icy roads weren't gonna stop us. Fished Friday and Saturday . Saturday it rained on us. We caught around 200 fish mostly gills , got about 20 small Largemouth bass and 15 decent crappy. Threw back lots of smallish guys. We kept like 100 gills and 15 craps. 99% of the fish were caught on a 1/40 demon with a waxworm.

Awesome trip. Question? Why not keep some bass? We eat them down south, esp. 12-15 inch ones.

To Me, Bass are fine if that's all ya got. But with plentiful gills and craps, why bother?
