Sounds challenging but you made it happen. Good job, good catches.

Braved the cold rainy weather today for a trip to Slidell.
Cloudy / Drizzle
Lows 30 High 59
Water temps 49 to 51
Low tide
Muddy water clarity
Fished isolated brush piles in 10ft of water with FFS. Threw everything but the kitchen sink at them today. Ended up with 10 quality slabs, 5 or 6 throw backs and 6 or 7 (caught and released) nice sized bass. There was no rhyme or reason for the bite today. Everything was sporadic. I caught them in the piles, away from the piles, on top of the piles, dead sticking the bait, swimming the bait etc. I had to mix it up to get but the ones that committed were quality. Also, marked a lot of fish on the very bottom out in the middle of the main bayou. Should be a good spawn this year.
Sounds challenging but you made it happen. Good job, good catches.
