Default New TFO Pastime first attempt

Spent forty minutes casting jigs with my new 6’ TFO Pastime ULF rod today while my wife was at her hair appointment.
Although hopeful, I stunk it up when it came to catching anything except a stick .
I did make a new friend , who acted like wasn’t even there .
Got within 10’ of me .

Second attempt, with better results will be posted below.

Info on the guides and finish .

The triangular design of the Seaguide Atlas SS304 guides reduces the touching and friction of the coils, leaving the spinning reel by 25%, delivering anglers with longer and more accurate casting ability. Additionally, the proprietary Adaman finish is the most durable on the market and eco-friendly. Lightweight, sensitive, and nearly bulletproof!.
The first two guides have the oblong shape , the rest are round .

And I wanted to say , I have no affiliation with TFO except I’ve purchased a few of their rods over the years including a few flyrods .
I’m just happy to see an American company listening to ultralight fishermen and trying to offer a rod made here in the USA .
