    Default Banshee

I finally took the step and got a Major Craft Finetail Banshee from Alphahawk. What a pleasure it is. Good in every aspect so far. Randy takes very good care of his gear so it’s in great condition. The bottom guide is smaller than a dime by just a little but it casts my 1/43 over 50’ without effort. I paired it with a Shimano Soare bb 500 with some 4lb Varivas braid and it’s very light and does just fine. I got 5 fish on it today that were all gills or redbreast and the best redbreast was a little bigger than the one in the pic below but fought like he was large. Pulled a lot of drag. I’m going to be ruined here pretty soon if I don’t make some more room in the rod rack. Thank you Randy. I really like the rod and wouldn’t have bought one new so you opened a door for me. Really appreciate it. Here’s the pic, didn’t take many. Til next time…..Skeet

Same fish in both pics, just got a little closer for the second pic.

Beautiful rod ! Pretty redbreast too !
I’m glad you grabbed that one up before I did . I had my eye on it but waited too long .
At least it’s still in the family .

A big congratulations, Skeet. Best wishes with your new rod. Yes, this equipment sure spoils you. They add so much enjoyment to catching just about anything!

Glad you’re enjoying it. And yes Hoosier I’m surprised I sold it also. I didn’t want to sell any of the rods but to continue to try out new gear I had to. And if buying JDM gear was not enough I have now gone down the espresso making rabbit hole. Banshee

    Regards
