    Default Take a Kid Fishin

Had the opportunity to take my Neighbor Kid fishing yesterday. He is 12 and Bass Fishes so I knew the transition to Crappie would not be too hard. First few cast I saw I underestimated his skills. The Kid can fish, gonna be an easy day for me. Just had to put him on fish a little coaching and stay outa the way. We got open water schools and Austin even sniped some solos. End of the day he looked me in the eye and said “That is the most fun I ever had on the water”. Little did he know, might have been mine also. Name: IMG_5359.jpg

Very cool! Introducing a new species will only reinforce his enthusiasm for the outdoors.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us. There is nothing like taking a kid fishing and watching them light up when they catch a fish. I have so many great memories teaching my boys and grandkids how to fish!
