    Default Trout Magnet Question ?

A few months ago , Victor on his i_fish YouTube channel was complaining about some new Trout magnet bodies he’d just purchased.
He said the latest ones he had were smaller than they used to be and of course he didn’t like the new “smaller size “ bodies .

    Can anyone confirm this ?

Personally I would like to see a smaller version . Something to bridge the gap in size between the mini and the regular size TM .
I have a good supply of old stock and hadn’t needed to order .
But if they’re smaller I would stock up on my favorites colors .
    Thanks in advance.

Victor and I are in regular discussions and he has brought this up several times. I have also brought this up to TM.....I'm out there almost weekly......and they, and I, are not quite sure what he is talking about. The molds are the same as they have always been. Depending on pigment used the size of a TM will change. But they told me it is almost impossible for the naked eye to tell that. The weight will also change. I will say Victor has a good eye and is a nut about aesthetics. But I cannot tell any size difference.

    Thanks Randy .
I watch Victor’s videos for entertainment.
Wasn’t sure about his new discovery.
    That’s why I asked.
Guess I’ll continue to trim the ones I have , when I’m not using the mini TM . Which has become my go to plastic bait for micro jig fishing.
Wished they would sell these in 50 packs too , so I won’t have to buy the kits with the tiny gold jigheads I don’t use .

Tell me what color you use and I will see if I can get a bunch, and if I can I’ll mail em to you.

Since the experts are on here I will throw in my two cents .I'm under the impression that there are four sizes of magnets .the mini, the panfish, the trout and the crappie . Am I wrong about this ?

Panfish Magnet and Trout Magnet are same. When you buy Panfish Magnet you get a hook with a longer shank than the hook for the Trout Magnet. But bodies are same.

Mini’ only come in a kit or a five piece pack with the smallest jighead made ; a 1/200th ounce size 14 hook jighead .
But I use them on a size 10 jig hook , tungsten bead head jig .
