trash jigs worked all season
I found roamers the other day . East wind hurt seeing fish , suppose it was the boat slap spooking them away. Winds slowed and game on. I pitched jigs to roamers holding just off the bottom again. Kept a good limit and released many more . These home tied jigs are made with shopping bags from Walmart.Cool to be able to catch fish with a bait you made . The color has not mattered for months and never thought it did much in the past . Been making these for a few months . I unpainted 1/8 oz jig head, red thread , Walmart sack and Super glue . Only cost pennies to make and good for several limits each . I know some caught 300 plus Crappie and worked till hook broke off .

That’s just awesome! I guess they are kind of a recycled jig. Good to see a WalMart bag used for something other than burning a good boat motor up! That’s just cool.

C.P hang on a bit, seems the bag colors make cycles about every 6 months or so they will change between the gray bags and white bags. Do around here any way. Ours are on the white ones right now. If you want some, I can gladly send a few up to you. Just P.M. an address and they're on the way...

I can get white, brown, blue and grey depending where I shop. In California you can't get any now, haha

Most of the time white here , sometimes gray. Other stores like Dollar General are yellow. Not a big believer in colors.Last spring I made jigs out of all kinds of trash and still caught fish .
