    Default Timing is peach....

Hi folks, just received an early Christmas present ( should I presents...lol) to myself from our friends @Digitaka and an unusual vendor out of Israel: some new lines and trout spoons. The timing can't be more peach, green, or clear! The yen to a US dollar sits exactly 157 as we speak. To take advantage of shipping cost it is only natural to order a handful @a time. Thanks to both i_fish and Alphahawk I've always been curious to try out JDM ultralight lines. Thanks for looking!Name: 20241219_204948(0).jpg

Different lines than I’ve seen. Soft and hard braid? The Varivas I use are .15 to .2 if I remember right. Those say .3 making them thicker and less poundage. I’m interested in hearing how they work for you.

Skeet the line you using and referring to as .15 and .2, could these numbers be in millimeter (mm) by any chance? I know photos are blurry, but here's 1 clear picture:Name: 20241220_192112.jpg

As you can see the diameter is .097mm...very thin for a 1.75lb Ester line. I'm experimenting it on tiny (micro) salty species like smelts, perches, and small kelp bass when occasion present itself. The .35 refers to line weight under 2lb in Japan braid rating. Hope this shed some light.

I should go look at my saved packages and speak more intelligently but it’s late and I’m not feeling real smart right now, just sleepy. The pics do help and I’ll look tomorrow and compare. Thanks for the efforts.
