    Default Boat decals

I have a 2023 bass tracker, with the tracker decals on it that keeps coming off the boat, I wash my boat after every trip cause it’s white, and I want to keep it looking nice, do you think that dishwashing liquid is causing this sticker or decal to come off, just picked it up from bass pro for decal replacement.

Danny, I use Star Brite boat wash from Walmart. It’s only about $5. Never had issues with decals.
Another advantage to using it which a guy that fishes a lot of bass tournaments told me about it, it has a wax with a rainx type solution in it that want let water scum stick to the boat. I also fish a lot of brackish water so it helps with the salt that is in the water as well.
What I found by using it, for the first two to five times after spraying boat off at landing the water line scum comes right off without putting a brush to it. It also
Leaves a shin to it, and I fish out of an aluminum boat.
That’s plus because I fish a lot of back water and oxbows.

silverroach thanks for your reply and help, I hope that will help me, this is the second bass tracker I have owned, first one was 20 years old when I sold it and never had any problems with the decals coming off, but I never washed it to, I only put dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle and spray the sides and wipe clean, but if this star bright works I can do the same with it, thanks again for your input.

Before replacing the decal again, wipe the area down with a wax and oil remover like you'd use before painting. Any automotive paint supply store will have it.

And where did you purchase it & in what size container ??

    Google says Walmart charges ~$6 for a 16oz bottle ... and ~$15 for a gallon bottle. BPS/Cabela's wants $9 for a 16oz bottle.

I got a tin Ranger and will ask Santa for some of that soap. Da Bayous here often have that vegetable oil brown scum from the dead vegetation after they control them with death spray. I removed my Ranger stickers after my first trip in my brand new boat because one side was starting to peal off. I replaced them with my boat’s name sticker I bought on line.
I wiped the boat off with isopropyl alcohol like the instructions said before applying the new BON TEMPS sticker and they been on there since 2014.

    BON TEMPS!!
