And the blue jeep is down.

Its shifts started to “stutter” when going into third gear. If you remember, I rebuilt this transmission myself. And I guess something wasn’t quite right. The oil does not smell burnt but it’s definitely darker. So now I have to take it apart and figure it out. But at least I have the white Jeep to drive now. And it’s a stick, yay.

I rebuilt this jeeps transmission. But I got it broke from the previous owner. I didnt know anything about it except the guy said it was broke. I’m no pro, and all I did was go through the transmission replacing the clutches and seals. I didn’t not do anything with the pump or obviously the torque converter. I didn’t not see anything wrong inside it, like burnt clutches. So I don’t know if I reinstalled broke parts. I’ve rebuilt exactly two transmission previously and they ran fine for years, but those transmissions were just aged, and not broke broke when I rebuilt them. So I’m not sure what is or was going on in this transmission. Gonna take it apart and see. The thing is, I have a backup transmission I’ll install in the mean time and run it. Got it cheap and its oil is bright red and is supposed to work. Gotta love jeeps for cheap parts availability.

Another white Jeep pic with the cdc logo on its door. I think it looks good.

Bud if I can stick my nose into your transmission issue back flush the cooler for debris. You may have done everything right but a restricted cooler will starve the transmission for fluid.

Just for giggles, I would do all Lines between the tranny and cooler as well. Could be a partial plugged up line as well.
