    Default Green Today

Took a old fart today. He hadnt been able to go for several months and wanted to see livescope for the first time...weather wise it was a great day. Lake condition wasn't the best. I think it had came up around 3 foot, all kinds of floating junk and was muddy. With that being said it wasn't the best day but not the worse either. We fished infront of the muddest water. Ended up with 26 keepers no biggin but of the 26 over half was 12 to 12.5" and very few under 11".

Yeah probably would be. I haven't been on Cumberland since September so i'd say i'll be in for a little surprise.

Nice report! At least you landed some fish. Sometimes they lock up in fresh muddy water

I had to jump in on this one. I could be totally wrong in my thinking but dirty water doesn't bother me unless it is cold, muddy & has a lot of current. When it comes to Cumberland especially i do way better when the water gets muddy on the upper end because i can spotlock 15 feet from them & pitch to them usually hanging on submerged stickups. From what i've learned since i started crappie fishing Green is about as easy a lake around to catch them & learn your livescope if you have it. Does anybody else feel the same way?

Muddy water don't bother me to much especially at cland. I hate chocolate milk muddy water. Usually a ton of crap floating with it. I was fishing muddy water all day but when we got to the chocolate milk there was crap floating everywhere.
