I fished with Mr. Rai McKay again, which is always a fun day on the water. Great angler and always fun to share a boat with. We caught a bunch and threw back several dinks. I think Rai took home 17, and I had 15 in the livewell that came home to be cleaned. Our biggest was 13 3/4”, and the tournament winners in our category had 14 3/8”.
We had a great turnout, and the first place plaques were beautiful. They had two - one for non-FFS users and one for FFS users. We were in the later group.
Thanks to all the people who donated door prizes, and a special thank you to Joshua Powell Morris of Richmond Crappie Club for putting it together.
All the best,
Glenn

Awesome! Glad you got out and got into the fish. Man, what a cold morning. Congrats!
I read that there were 2 tournaments there that morning. Was it a mess?

I thought it would be, but it wasn’t at all. The bass tournaments were starting at 6:30, and we were starting at 7:00. So our tournament director asked that we stay in the front area until 6:30, so they were long gone before we even drove down to the ramp to launch. We didn’t start right at 7:00, but I didn’t hear anyone complaining. They asked for someone to say a prayer, which he did, and then we all headed out.
All the best,
Glenn
Sounds like a good time. I was able to make it to a few of Wooducks get togethers. Always a good time. Mark was good to me.
