Finally, made the jump to a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiPO) battery for my 55 Minn Kota on my sacalait skiff.
Bought a budget priced Wattcycle 12.8 volt, Group 24, 100 amp for $159.99 plus tax from Wattcycle .com.

Baw cuts these batteries apart, shows the componets and tests the features - in the very least an education into lithiums 101. By the way, all of these batteries are made in China. (what I see reported on YT).
I was going to buy LiTime but recent reviews reflected LiTime customer service as disappointing. Wattcycle cs was responsive to me w/i 12 hours when I opted to stop order on Thanksgiving day and upgrade to their bluetooth/IPS 67 group 24 12 volt.
If you order through Wattcycle and a first time customer you can get 5% off sale with your email addy. Free shipping and good reviews, Im in for $170ish. +$40 for upgrade.

Bought a lithium battery 3/4 years ago for my trolling motor, absolutely love it, so much better than lead acid
