As I creep closer to 70 I have that little voice in the back of my mind reminding me there is less sand in the top of the hour glass than in the bottom. Several years ago I met a young man who was in his early 80’s. I was still working and envied his lust for life. He fished religiously 3 times a week and often brought me limits of fish when I returned home from work. Bob, who passed a year ago, fished weekly until he was 90 and still had that sparkle in his eyes whenever the subject came up.
Near the end his body just wore out but he would love to hear every detail about the fishing and hunting trips my grandson and I were making.
Sieze the moment!!! It could be your last.
