    Default Restock day

It was really, really windy yesterday with winds at 20mph gusting to 39 mph so no fishing for me. Hot sizes this time of year are the little tiny duck jigs 1" or so in length using gadwall and mallard flank feathers. 1/43 ballheads have #12 sickles and 1/32 with #10 sickles. These tiny little baits catch everything that swims so I keep using them.Name: IMG_5593.jpg

Top jigs were painted with chrome powder, silver crinkle top with glow white tapped on bottom. Bottom was painted with glow white, chrome top and glow red bottoms. They really glow too. Trying to make it easier for fish to see.

    Good looking jigs.
What depth do you fish the light jigs at?

Last trip the magic depth was 4 foot deep and believe bait was dragging bottom sometimes then float goes under. Couldn't get bit shallower.
