    Ima tell ya what, Jamesdean .... if your 2nd tie (the brown one) doesn't flatten out when wet, to resemble a "minnow", then use it to fish for Bluegill, Shellcrackers, and other members of the PanFam ... cause it's a dead-on lookalike to the "Crickets" you buy at the bait store.

    This video is for the very first picture. The video of what I was trying to copy/ imitate is also by the same tyer on YouTube, @flytyingtex, and its The Gadwall Feathers From My Duck Hunt...Just for perspective.

    Not a complete failure, but still needs work. First try at something similar to Crappieguy82's minnow jig. Mine may never get as good looking as his, but I'll let the fish decide. I will say, it takes a lot of patience, and three or four sets of hands. As I said, first try...Name:  20241117_200111.jpg

    I used a 1/32 oz Waally world tube jig, craft fur, some mono sewing line frome Hoobby Lobby, some UV resin to hold the Thin Skin on the back...the green on the back is from a green sharpie...Will try again later...
