Some folks just don’t get it, Ketchn. My little creek has PFS lord knows what else and I see people filling a bucket with crappie and pans. I feel bad because I know some are fishing for dinner but….These should not be consumed.

So here is the thing , folks ask and often even lurk on my posts on other social media platforms
forums to glean information ....
in many cases, if not all of them , I hope they get what they need to ketch some fish .....
I rarely, if ever "clean" my images , you know the blurred background and removal of geo tags and exif files and the rest of the possible ways to figure out where I was .....
on some other social media platforms , some of the less than intelligent people misunderstood something I put up about keeping fish in some spots I hit when I warned them about keeping fish from those locations due to pollution
Several implied I was just crying about them hitting spots I frequent , there were the usual amounts of stupid sideways comments , one went so far as to spout off about a location and then posted some trash talk he read somewhere about how those particular fish were ok to consume !
I knew someone local took a big stringer of them river fish home ....for sure not an informed type of fella and or just don't care .....
but what bothers me is THIS .....
That fella likely fed them to friends and or family .....
innocents getting fed stuff like that is a REALLY bad thing ....AND
here is the actual tpw advice off the website from the location that it occurred in ......
just a quick fyi , you cannot see or taste what is wrong with them fish ,just saying

They closed a town called Times Beach less than 1/2 hour from St.Louis where I live because roads were contaminated with Dioxins. Took years of clean up before it was said to be "safe". It's a ghost town now. I still fish there occasionally but won't eat fish from there. Those kinds of warnings shouldn't be ignored, very dangerous chemicals.

"Couldn't care less" and "could care less" are both used to mean someone doesn't care at all, but English teachers and grammarians will say that only "couldn't care less" is correct

Some people spend too much time on social media platforms - arguing this and that, posting "selfies", etc. No Facebook, etc. for me. I'm only on crappie.com only, don't have time otherwise. 30 minutes max a day.

the sources of dioxins turned lose on this planet are almost endless , and the damage they due to internal organs, reproductive systems , and are known to cause cancer is a real event if one consumes them in however many ppm is deemed to be a dangerous level .....
shelf life inside a human is a pretty long time as well , 7 to 10 years ....
