Default Putting eyes on jigs question

What does everyone use to keep the eyes on their jigs? I know some super glues puts a white film on the eyes.

I use good ol’ Sally Hansen clear, and an applicator bottle. One little drop where I want to put the eyes at. Then let it dry for a few hours. After that I then clear coat the whole jig (just like if you were painting nails) with the bottle of Sally Hansen, let it dry a few hours and repeat. I usually 2 coats of clear to seal up every thing. I do all this before tying my jig obviously.

Turns out like this. . .

Great looking jig. I also coat in Sally Henson but gorilla glue clear works to apply eyes.

I use the gorilla glue clear that has the brush applicator for adhering the eyes! Then I cover the head in sally hanson.

I will use either Sally Hanson's or super glue to adhere the eyes to the head, but the coat them over with UV Resin thick. Haven't lost an eye yet since I started doing them this way...

My question is…. Do eyes make a difference to the fish or is it for the fisherman?

That depends on who you ask. Some say yes, some no. Me I prefer with eyes, and put eyes on mine.
