    Default ISO Jon Boat Trailer

I have reached my wits end fooling with this trailer. This thing is 50 years old and finding hubs for a 4 lug tire and the overall length of the hub being less than 4 inches has become very difficult.

Hubs that I ordered don’t fit when fully assembled. If anyone knows of any trailers that will carry a 14ft Jon boat for sale please contact me.

If anyone knows someone with a lathe, I might be able to turn these hubs down around .250-.400 and may be able to get by with what I have. I am a machinist, so no need to do the work, I just need the tools and can turn these myself.

Looks like it is going to be a long time before I get to fish again. I will be back on the motorcycle for a while until I can work up the will to do something with this trailer.

Keep posting updates and I will live vicariously through yall!

I'll keep my eye out for ya a trailer. And spread the word I'm looking for one.

Motorcycles are cool but everybody "who knows anything" has the need and right to fish lol. Just my two cents.....J/K. Hopefully something will turn up ALBuzz! If I come across anything I'll be sure to hit ya up.

Call off the dogs. After gaining a few more gray hairs and thinking over a couple of cold ones, I've got it all figured out. It took a little elbow grease and a little fabrication and I'm back in business. If the bearings go out again, I'll bite the bullet and get a new stump jumper and trailer to keep on fishing. See y'all on the water!

Went out Tuesday morning to Cotaco and wore out the dinks. Plenty of gills and small crappie in the creek. I found the keepers later that day, but I will be able to locate those a little better with some more research. I'll chime in sometime later next week. I'm off to North GA on Monday and will return Wednesday.
