    Default Electric chicken spin

I made this by dipping in hot pink, then dip into white silver vein then brush tapping silver crinkle and chartreuse. Then I reheat jig for a couple seconds I use my bodkin to swirl paint before baking. Took four pics to show how it looks from different angles. These are 1/16 with #4 sickles.Name: IMG_5555.jpg

Shoot! Too pretty to fish with. You should make a display case for such as that one!

My favorite thing to do with this hobby is painting jigs. It's an addiction for sure. I paint way more jigs than I tie. Probably have over 10,000 heads painted but untied and I still keep painting them. I go through a lot of Bic lighters.

I'm bad about painting. I have over 40 colors.
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

Looks great Jim, but I have one question. After painting the swivel, does it still turn freely, or do you have to go back and break it free? Thank you Jim, and really enjoy the pics of all your master pieces. Eric.

It's been awhile, several years in fact, since I bought powder paint at harbor freight. Back then they had four colors in 1lb containers for $7.99 each. They had Matt Black (that ended up shiny), White, Yellow, and Red. I just looked and all that's available is the black and white. Still 1 lb containers and still $7.99

Some get a little paint in them close to head and need to twist it a little bit but both sides spin before I add blades. When painting these I paint them with hook eye down and swivel up to minimize paint on swivel. I don't like the Harbor Freight powder paints, I tried it once, that was enough for me.
