'Cept one was a dink.
And one was a drum.
And my very first one I had literally just dropped the jig in the water while I was putting my 3-piece rod together, so I lost that one at the surface!
Left me with 11 on the day. All between just over 9 and just under 11. All good eaters. Tried hard to get those last few but the wind was picking up and it was harder to stay on my marks.
And then the FFS battery quit and so did I.
Fished from 10a to about 1p.
All in one cove. All on one jig.
Only a few weren't interested. The others were HUNGRY and aggressive.
Filleted them up and gave them to a neighbor.
Good times.
