A friend of mine's father-in-law was killed while crappie fishing on Horseshoe lake Wednesday. He and his neighbor were anchored up in a pontoon boat and a bass boat came flying down the lake and ran into their boat right where he was sitting. His neighbor and the bass boat driver were both unharmed. Bass boat driver's only explanation was that the sun was in his eyes and he couldn't see them. Not sure why he kept the throttle down if the sun was in his eyes so bad he couldn't see a freakin pontoon boat right in front of him. Yall be careful out there.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
Hate to hear that. So sorry for your friends loss. Condolences and prayers sent.
Sorry to hear that. That was pure foolishness on behalf of the bass boat driver. I have been on Horseshoe it's not a WOT (wide open throttle) lake size in anyway. Prayers for the family and friends.
Not using good judgment and safe boating skills cost an another innocent man his life. Praying for all involved, in Jesus name.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
Thoughts and prayers for all involved in that accident.

So sorry , what a tragic incident. You know in Sept I travel a road that every year right around Sept the sun rises straight down this road and for about two weeks the sun is in my eyes completely and really you just have to bare through it but here’s the kicker. Bicyclist will be on that road going up the hill right in the sun. You just have to really block what you can but certainly slow down and proceed with extreme caution. I would like to think I could see a bicycle but man you just never know it’s that bad. I can’t imagine a pontoon size object being completely blocked. Prayers and condolences

Sounds like a situation where charges should be filed against the bass boat operator.
