    Post Finally Went Fishing!

During the hot summer my boat was in the shop getting new carpets put down. Got it back a couple weeks ago so yesterday I took a break from doing nothing (sprained wrist) and went fishing. I thought my healing process was doing great but yesterday I found out I couldnt even handle the net with my bad wrist. I shoulda been wearing the wrist splint I have but I wasnt.

Anywho...fishing wasnt as bad as I thought it might be for trolling. Hardly no winds, comfortable temps and an occasional fish came over the rail of the boat. Water temps about @ 77*-78* and plenty clear enough to be fishing in after the 9" of rain last week. Still a little trash. Just had to pick your spots to fish.

I didnt take any pics (hard to do practically one handed) but from 7AM-11AM I boated 20 fish and brought home as mess of 10"-12" fish to fillet and have a fresh fish meal. Even though it's deer season going fishing yesterday was pretty enjoyable. Since we are having a decent weather change this coming week I'm sure the lake conditions will improve and the bite will just get better so I will be back out there before too long again. Tight lines to ya.

I’m glad you were able to get on the water and catch some. You aren’t fooling me, your wrist hurts cause of the huge slabs you’re catching! Hope it gets better soon.

Great Report, I’m itching to get out and do a Recon Mission. You gave me hope of success.
