Good report. Sounds like a fantastic line.

So I'm working with Bon Temps a bit to fast track him in my world of Crappie fishing. A couple of other strong Crappie Catchers are also and all three of Us fish differently. My task yesterday was to introduce Bon Temps to Dock Shooting first & Shiner fishing second. Since He has not Dock Shot I took my two old rods, one with the Varivas 10# Double Cross PE and the other loaded with Varivas Super Trout Advanced Sight Edition Nylon line in 4# test to see which was easier to shoot? Standing in my back yard I shot the PE first, it is a little heavier than the Infinity PE but still shot quite well. Next I grabbed the rod loaded with the 4# Nylon Super Trout line. I drew back hoping at least the range of the Double Cross PE and when I let go the jighead went out of sight. I saw one of my Satsuma tree limbs move but thought, "No Way"! Sure enough I shot the jighead almost double the distance and the jighead was hung up in the Satsuma tree. That made it very easy to know which rod to swap the reel handle for Bon Temps to use. His first attempts was much like the rest of us but after a couple of hours He was getting shots as good as mine, direction or aim was still off. He saw a loop on the spool, went to cast the loop out and cast way away from us and into a tree. I thought he had a bad release, I ask, "are you in the tree?" He said yes I didn't intend to cast so far the line just casts that way. After retrieving his jig I started really paying attention to the distance of some of his shots, it was impressive. One dock I was holding the boat in position for him to fish he shot all the way thru the boat slip longways and out the back (the slip is long enough to hold a 30ft Everglades in a lift with lots of room to spare).
The Varivas Super Trout Sight Edition is the most supple nylon line I have ever felt. It also gives me the impression the outer surface is the smoothest I've pulled thru my fingers. The only break-offs were snags not fish. I put my reputation on this line as once again I'm totally impressed with the quality, function, durability, castability, visibility, suppleness, and overall knot strength for 4# test.
I didn't count the fish in the cooler but we had a great afternoon dock shooting. Never really got to the shiners. If you're looking for a TOP TIER Monofilament nylon line for any kind of fishing your monies are well spent on Varivas Fishing Lines.
Very nice sir! Thanks for sharing with us
