    Default Cumberland

Tried out the jigs I have been tying. I caught a few crappie. I didn't see a lot or maybe I couldn't see them for all the bluegill. It didn't matter if I was in 13 fow or 30 fow the bluegill where there. I did take some pictures today. My internet maybe the problem but I can't get the pictures to download....maybe I can get crappiepappy to post them for me...

Looks like they liked them pretty good Rodney. I really like fishing for crappie on cumberland in winter in dirty water A buddy said he caught a limit today of bigger fish on green but was having to chase them down with livescope because they had moved & really scattered out after the rain.. He said he went once last week & caught a limit in bushes too.

On the dam end. They are not easy to find. The water level is not good with the water temp. I found some schools in open water but they was deep and spooky and couldn't get my jig to them. The ones I caught was in about 20 fow on the bottom.

Ok great - I go out of Grider Hill and fish Indian Creek, Otter Creek and Bever Creek a lot - crappie are hard to find. Was considering trailering my boat and heading to the Burnside end of the lake. I have read a lot about Needlepoint and Fishing Creek being hot spots for crappie,
