Default Steps to building Walmart trash jigs

    ·
Have had several requests how to make my trash jig using Walmart sacks. Some wanting a video. I don't make videos but may get someone to do one soon. Here are 3 steps making these jigs and they are bullet proof. If a fish doesn't break it off. I can catch several limits on each one. Start by putting a dab of super glue on hook shank and wrap thread.

Next add folded sack and use glue to hold it in place then start wrapping with thread applying glue on each layer.

Wrap several layers continuing to add glue. Once it is complete, trim sack as needed. I buy cheap super glue at Harbor Freight, cheap sewing thread, and any store sack will work. I use mostly unpainted 1/8 lead heads, but most any kind will work.

Some people laughing still think it is a joke but been hammering limits for weeks using nothing else .

I have made the wing case on a jig using the smoke colored anti static bags that electronics come in. That jig works well. These have to have great action with the way the bag material would move in the water

That is really neat. The bag material is probably just as authentic looking as any of the usual materials, maybe more so.

If you seen all my posts you would know they work . I have tried many jigs over the years. Catching Crappie is 99% the presentation not the jig or color .
