Thread: Dumb things list

A ding dong dumb dumb channel cat that sinks your float on a really steep bank that you know full well isn't going play nicely and cause a not so fun ending either ......top of the list
I would go into a tirade about it and it was a splendid fight on light tackle ......but ....
I didn't wanna fight a ding dong dumb dumb channel cat and was rather aware early on ,some of my terminal tackle was in the watch this get compromised mode....
So as it slowed up on it's watch me lose my mind thing , I crawled REALLY carefully down that bank , mind you this the last 4 or 5 feet ain't happening less you want to swim while you ketch fish
So me said a prayer and grabbed the line ....I know I know ....never EVER grab the line ....and I made sure my hand was under my balsa wood float and said pretty please hold very still while I try to keep my 6 b. mono from snapping .....
NOT that day ....lost my pretty jig .....got back my float ....said some choice not so nice words ,and crawled EVER so carefully back up the bank to my original perch ....
p.s. tall dry grass can be as slippery as short wet grass all day long ....it was NOT easy to stay dry on this particular episode of hold my beer and watch this for sure .
