    Default Mule Fishing lures

Dunno if this brand is a known about thing but I stumbled upon them through some random YouTube video a couple weeks ago. Their baits are all finesse/UL oriented and made from elastomer, the stretchy near indestructible stuff that Zman baits are made from. I'm a huge sucker for elastomer baits, always such a good value and they save you from rerigging during hot bites. I've caught over 100 fish on a single Zman bait before breaking it off a number of times. Unfortunately I think the Zman "micro" line kinda missed the mark as far as bluegill fishing goes. Most the options are pretty broad shapes and more suited for crappie, bass, whatever with a bigger mouth. The Mule stuff (specifically the Donkey Tail Jr and 1.2" Mule Minnow) really caught my attention as very slender baits. Didn't fish the Donkey Tail Jr yet but the 1.2" Mule Minnow is crazy tiny and thin and perfect for if you just want to go out and catch something. The rest of their products don't really appeal to me but there is some neat stuff that might speak to others. Mule Fishing

I’ve used several of his products and really like them. My bluegill holes are mostly clean bottoms and when I cast one of these in and just let it sit they can’t stand it. The tail floats up off of the bottom and the bluegill suck it down deep requiring foreceps to get the jig out. I superglue mine the night before and the last a long time.

Didn't even think about the floating aspect but that makes a lot of sense. I've really been digging the 1.2". If I fished it off the bottom it would be the world's smallest ned rig lol.
