Blue Heron Tug of War
Caught a nice fish and had it in the net. Suddenly a B. Heron flew past my head from behind and went into my net and pulled my fish out!!!! We were in a tug of war, had on 10 pound braid and had the fish in the roof of the mouth. I won the contest and netted my fish. Few minutes later I had a small fish and that rascal got it!! Another battle. I won it too!!! I’ve had some bold B. H. but this one was crazy. I normally don’t keep big fish but it was bleeding at the hook and had a wound from the Heron.

On high rock, there's a BH that will land near you on docks awaiting dinner. Occasionally, we give it a small one or two. It's alot of fun to watch!
