I've played this game for years, once that wave hit the Bay of Campeche I started prepping. I called it then, we were in for a Hurricane. Boarded up most of the windows yesterday. We have some plants to move inside, few boards to put up, & put the vehicles in the shop. Good luck to those west of us.

Yep, played this game for many years myself. Generator has been serviced, plenty of fuel, 3 chainsaws ready, and a case of Miller Lite on ice.

We did all the prep yesterday. Picked up plants(10) , lawn chairs(3), bird bath, bird feeders(4). Filled four 5 gallon cans with gas. Ran the generator. Cut and trimmed my yard and 2 neighbors yards. Cleaned and filled 4 buckets with water in case we need flush water. Bought drinking water and extra dog treats. Coors light and Shiner in the garage fridge. Cooked gumbo. And the storm went around us. Hitting Morgan City where many family members are. Most staying. God bless them. So we just finished putting all the chairs and plants back out. Heating left over gumbo and frying a small pack of fish. Then shower and nap. Been through many storms in my life. Even rode one out on a boat. Need to know when to go. Hope everyone fares well.
