    Default Finesse underspins

Like many of you, I'm a fan of Richard Gene. On a streaming video of his, he mentioned that the Finesse underspins are his favorite. I've looked online, but was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for best place to buy these. It seems they are just a bit different from a Roadrunner? Thanks much.

Road Runners hands down. Bucktails and Bucktail Pro’s work well. TTI Blakemore – Fishing Group

IMHO you can’t go wrong with any of their products. Plus they are a site sponsor.

I guess I thought when Richard said "Finesse" underspins, he was referring to a particular brand. He mentioned that the hook shanks were longer . I have tons of Roadrunners....use and like them lots. When I searched for Finesse underspins, it looked like the blades were shaped differently than the RR.

For USDM products, Jenko Fishing makes underspins, propeller style heads and scrounger style jigheads in finesse and UL sizes. The underspins use #4 hooks on 1/32oz and #2 hooks on 1/16oz, big hooks for bluegill, great for everything else. Quality sticky hooks. Unsure on hook sizes for the other jighead styles.

For JDM products, Zappu makes the Micro Bredy underspin in 0.8, 1.3 and 1.8gram sizes, all with #6 hooks.

I doubt you'll find higher quality than these 2 options. Road Runners are a classic and all, but the hooks are very low quality.

RGFM was using the Crappie Magnet Fin Spin.

    Access Denied

I think they spin much better due to the 2nd eye that the swivel is attached to. It puts the blade further away from the body of the lure so it doesn't hit it.

I use a similar version from Amazon for white perch, but they are much less expensive. The keeper holds the bait very good, but the blades are small so I replace them with a bit bigger one.
