nope all good , just busy , the hammer never quits ....
hammered yesterday, in the pouring rain ,,,,
just super duper busy .....
sure was humid a few days ago when I went out and not a single sign of a breeze ...
fall is in the air here ,,,,rained for 2 days this week ,,,,,we like that down here ....

Sounds like you’re on your way to start chasing them again. Heal fast!

I'm with you happycaster58. I start my complete replacement Monday the 9th. They're supposed to call tomorrow to tell me the time to be there. Heal quickly, and get on them. The Lake Lice should be coming to a major slow down what with schools/ colleges starting back up. Prayers for a full complete healing.

Start practicing sliding out of the bed to get to your walker- you'll need to get the muscles ready. Sliding, not rolling.
Make a run to the store and get everything you think you'll need and then some.
***Get a leg strap to pull your bad leg around to keep from bending it.**
Prepare to only sleep 1 to-1.5 hours at a time the first few days. I just finished my first week post-surgery and it was H***!! Work to get some healing and decide what side of the bed you're gonna get in and out from.
Don't neglect pain meds- they're given to you for a reason.


Just a few tips from someone who's started down the road ahead of you. Good Luck and Prayers for fast recovery!

Thank you JD. Thanks to a few others on here, as well as having been through this with Ms Joyce, My better half, I'm ahead of the curve. Been doing the strengthening exercises ahead of time. Our 21y/o chihuahua don't let us sleep much at night anyway. she can't see real well due to cataracts, hard of hearing and hip dysplasia, as well as a bag back left knee. She gets two meds twice a day and gets around as well as her two younger sisters. Bless her heart, she just wont quit. I have the easy chair moded up to get my foot up high enough. Physical therapy already scheduled out through Halloween. So the Good Lord willing, everything will be good. Thank you for the advice, and suggestions, and just may take you up on the PM's. Eric.

pt is not actually pt ....some call it physical therapy ......but here its called PAIN THERAPY ....
here tell from lot's of peeps the start of it is rather painful , they say afterwards you get all better though ....
