it always amazes me how little some know about the how to ketch a crappie and how refined the crappie's senses are ......
scent is critical and more often than not, they will bite scented bait quicker than an unscented one ,if it has the "right" scent on it ....
the lateral line detects movements , the eyes detect movement as well and the nose sniffs out the rest ...
sometimes something as simple as touching your fuel line and then your jig will ruin your day ....
seen it myself MANY times ....
