Good job fighting the heat and going. Nice catch.

I was stupid enough to fish in the heat yesterday on Wylie. Water temperature was up a couple degrees since Tuesday. Saw 83 mid to lower lake. The bite was ok but not super aggressive. Fish are moving to the brush, most every pile has some fish. After getting sweat in my eyes I decided to take a ride up the lake and check out the S. Fork!!! Wow!! My Hummingbird said 93 degrees, I didn’t believe it!! Dropped my Garmin in and it showed 91. Caught a couple in the hot water but not as good as down the lake. I’m guessing that maybe the Steam Plant release is the reason. Well, I had enough fun, time to load up. It was a fun day. Trip results were 52 caught, kept 0 and had one really nice fish. Not too shabby for Late August.

Too hot for me but sitting in the house is worse than sweating in the boat. I picked my poison.
