    Default Hen feathers...do you ever use?


    I got a bunch of hen feathers. I have used a lot of Rooster hackle....but what can you do with hen feathers? Have you ever used and if so....how?

    Ken, Great for wet flies or collars on jigs. Can be used for legs on flies also.

    "wet hackle", collars on jigs. Wooly bugger type jigs

    lol...I try. Always looking for deals....not that I need anything. I found 87 of some of the largest kip tails I ever seen.. like 15 inches long for $75. Deals like that don't come by often. When I get back in the states...I'll see what you need.

    hackle necks on jigs or a bigger one make a wooly bugger on a jig!!
