Surely we will all miss our Brother Mike... and surely the sadness we all feel will linger on for many days, weeks, and years to come. What a genuine and just all-around great guy he was. I personally always wanted to shake Mike's hand, visit with him, or even go fishing with him sometimes; but distance, unfortunately, prevented that from becoming a reality. But, if you're like me, it has to bring a smile and a warm place deep down in your inner man to know what a celebration there was and still is in heaven from the time when they received Brother Mike through those pearly gates - and I'm sure it's still going on even now.

I know going to heaven and being with our Lord is something Brother Mike longed for all of his Christian life, which was easily seen through his worship, sharing, and loving friendships he had with so many people who he touched, and who will remember him on this earth - even long after his passing. Prayers and condolences will continue for a long time for his family and friends.

Rest in Peace Brother Mike. I am so thankful for our having crossed paths in this life - at least until we meet again.
