    Default Bad terrova remote?

Last weekend my remote grew a mind of its own and at near $200 I’m not anxious to cough the bucks until I’m sure it will fix the problem. I tried to turn the motor right with the remote and it also turned on the motor, two functions at once. Using the motor on/off button didn’t work at all, I think. Point is that it was so frustrating to try to get it to do what I wanted it to do that I put it down and used the foot control. Thank goodness I had bought the foot control. All functions on it work as they should. Replaced the batteries in the remote, same deal. Changed them out again with some bought fresh, same deal.. I’m waving the white flag here, can anyone tell me what’s up or dealt with this themselves. Thanks in advance.

Phone app? I have ran mine with the app. It is not as user friendly as the remote. But the app would rule out the motor and controls

The motor runs fine on the foot control, including the anchor mode. This tells me that the GPS is still good and active, I think. I don’t know anything about the app. In my App Store maybe? I have an iPhone.

Mine did kinda the same thing Skeet.......turn left and the motor would start. Hit the power button and motor would start. Try to turn left and motor would stop. Took it apart and cleaned everything but no dice. Just bought another. Good luck.

Thanks for the link John. My daughter just helped me install it and the motor responds. With the heat down here I have to pay attention to it overheating and shutting down til it cools.

TLE, that’s just what I wondered about. I kinda figured it was done for but I was hoping someone else had the same issue. I saw one for sale here a while back and thought about buying it in case. Might not have been a bad idea after all. I’ll probably bite the bullet and get another one.

Thanks for the help everyone, y’all are the best.

Not sure which one Jack but I bought another and problem solved. Sure wish there’d been a cheap fix for it.
