Default Beautiful Day on the Water

Took advantage of this beautiful day to go fishing. Hooked up the Mighty White Marine Special and headed to Bald Knob Lake. Good fortune smiled on me today with a lot of quality fish brought to hand. All fish caught on Trout Magnet. Rod was a Major Craft FineTail Banshee 6 foot super ultra light. Reel was a tuned Daiwa Ballistic FW 1000 spooled with VARIVAS ES 2 Lemoni Ester in 1.75# test. This setup gave me more fun than the law should allowBeautiful Day on the Water. Looks like you had the lake all to yourself. Beautiful scenery and nice mess of redear and gills. Hard to beat a day like that.

Glad you were able to get out and catch a few.
I’m still waiting this heat out . Hopefully next week .
BTW , I know you have a temperature gauge on your electronics. What’s was the water temp that day ? Just curious.

Water temperature was 88 degrees. Lake is still a big puzzle to me. Of course I need to explore other areas of the lake for fish. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen any posts from you. Yesterday was great for weather. Had it been hot I probably wouldn’t have gone.

    Regards

Good to hear you got out some. I’m taking my daughter and gdaughter tomorrow morning. It seems we’ll both have some fun this week.
