Fishing for me was tough this weekend. Caught only a few up north of W Bridge. Most my fishing were main lake and brush piles. Also caught a few gems dipping trees in shallow water in coves. Brother and I ended up with 10 Saturday and 15 on Sunday fishing with his son. Used double riged 1/8 oz chart heads with black and chart tube jigs. Brother was doing pretty good with red and chart tubes. His son was changing colors almost every 5th tree depending on the color I or my brother were using and catching fish with.
The highlight of the weekend is when my brother's son hooked up a pretty nice white bass that pulled drag. The whole boat was on fire for that one.
Ran into Jeff (KCCrappie) Saturday at the ramp. Caught up a bit with him and found out he's had some sightings of old members at the ramp, Bill (Birddogs54) and Smithville's Tripple Crowned Crappie Champ Rodney (Brushman). If any of the old gang still comes by on CDC for a look now and then, make a post and say hello.

It was good to see you Alex. I caught 9 eaters Saturday, mostly on Silver/gray handtied. I couldn't find any big fish. I think Bill had two or three over a pound. We fished up north. Got hot so we left around 11:00. The crazy's were already out.
Glad you guys caught a few it's been pretty slow in the good fish department for me for a long while.
Sounds like an enjoyable weekend. Thanks for sharing
