Thread: 6 of us have fished or posted about it since May? Smithville Finally Caught Keepers!

Lurker alert! Lurker Alert! (some will understand!) Caught multiple species but no Drum Joe! It's ok to post even if you don't catch fish or even if you haven't fished!

Well finally not a total dink report but I did catch my fair share of DINKS and then some. Main lake spot had some nice ones, well 9 inchers with a couple of 10's and 12's.
Called Clownfish who came to the same area but did not find the fish we were thinking he might. Told him to fish right next to me but a little to windy.

We both left as it slowed down and got windy. I went to Camp Branch arm and started hammering the dinks as usual. Moved, then moved then moved and found another spot with about 1 out of every 4 being a keeper. I did clean 15 and missed my ribber Joedog! I forgot - Cleaning fish is hard work!

First spot I caught ok fish was in about 12 fow, fish were about 8 to 10 foot down, second ok spot I found was in about 10 fow and fish were about 6 foot down. Still spotty but good day overall. Well compared to Dink Days!

Not all fish were picture worthy so they stay in the bucket............
