Yep, pulled these rib-eyes off the grill. Hot pecan wood chunks in the grill, 5 minutes a side. Ann is currently baking a cheese cake. Danny, you know I grill the best rib-eyes.

Well I grilled for the first time in about 10 years. I had bought a gas grill in Tennessee about 5 years ago. Never used it, gave to a SIL when we moved back. Well happened to see a deal at Lowes last week. Walking by the grills outside I saw a Chargriller on sale marked from $149,99 to $25. Yes, It had been outside, but the only rust was on the charcoal pan and was faded. With military discount, came out to $24.80 with tax. Took it home and cleaned it up. Should have bought the other 2 to give away.(believe it or not, the barrel is heavy and has a 5 year warranty) Used it today. Perfect size for Mae and I. Since I was out of practice I left the rib eyes in the freezer. Went with pork steaks and burgers. Had a pack of sausage, but decided that was too much. Any way here are the results. Yes I liked the way it cooked. So did our pups as they discussed who was gonna get what. lol

Still celebrating the weekend in the outdoor kitchen. Today was ribs. Will work nicely with fresh picked corn and cucumbers. Follow up with Ann's baked cheesecake.

Pooped after pulling a tire off the tractor to repair a flat. Those tires and high-lift jack get heavier each year. Taking a break in my shop to cool off. My 1,200 square foot shop is my "mans cave". A/C, heat, hot/cold water, even a shower in here. My puppy is enjoying my company in here - Ozzy. Y farms wonderful wizard (18 months old).
