yeppers , good times , he only wanted to pet them , then pitch them back ....
good times for sure , nothing beats a lil kid and a big bluegill on his rod ....
and it even seemed the big bluegill knew what was up and just laid still to get petted ...
    go figure ...

That's so cool, great experience for you and him. Glad my ties got to be part of it. Have two two year old grandsons that I can't wait to take out there. Maybe a little young yet but won't hurt to try. Kaboom is the word of the day.

Mini kaboom went her first time swaddled up like a burrito in the fall when she was 6 months old , we started him at 2.5 years old on ketchn fish , 3.5 on hunting…
His dad is pure country and so wants him to hold a fish , we are progressing that way , maybe before he is 6 is my hope ….
Mini used to pet em when she was 3 and then one finned her good , took me about 7 years to talk her into touching another one ,,,

Very cool and great memories. My girls didn’t take long to hold and bait their own and they’re near 40 now. I can still see the smiles.
