Don't matter what they made of, nor what they look like. It's the fishes who decide if they're good or not...

I agree, most of the time it don't matter. Fish just have to be there, and they have to be hungry. But when they ain't biting, and you're wanting them to, a guy just has to try something, anything, right. Just gotta change it up. And if it takes Walmart bags to get them to bite, so be it. lol

But I still say, the spemm of slabsauce on those Walmart bags will get you at least another bite or two! lol

My mother used to raise poodles, champagne colored, and I used to take the hair when she clipped them and Nick jigs it worked great. I think the one that really got me was a guy many years ago that I was fishing by was using a shad dart with nylon bristles Clear clear and catching fish and I could not get them to bite before he left. He give me one and that’s what they want. They want no action at all but the nylon bristles were just like a stick broom I mean no give no action no nothing and why they were hitting it. I do not know . So no matter what sometimes anything may work so there’s a guy that will try anything so OK guys start chopping up the house sometimes that’s what it takes to catch fish. I can tell you a lot of stories about my experience with different colors on the tube jigs you probably know I make a lot of different plastics. I wanted to try something really natural so I made a color close to baby poop color which of creamy yellow icky looking brown colored and I was not getting anything on red and green or red and white so I decided to use one of them and believe it or not that’s what they want. They want that icky looking color.


I noticed that you were using a Jig head that are very old. I believe that they are flat. I may be wrong, but they look like the old-fashioned jig heads I used to use years ago to tie up. Maribou.
