    Default Cranking Kitties


    Made a trip to Cypress Lake this morning and caught 7 crappie and 7 catfish (kitties) pulling crank baits . Made a trip on Father’s Day and caught 12 crappie and no catfish , go figure and beggar’s can’t be choosy!

    I have not learned to fish open water with the live scope yet and like it better for fishing timber when crappie are positioned around it in the fall at Lake O Pines in Marshal , Tx .

    Great catch!!
    I used to fish Cypress when I lived in Shreveport. A nice lake, that could be challenging. I mostly bass fished back then.
