I hit the water just to me sum ketch fisheez ....
not always just crappie , but it is ok if they want to get in the mix too .....
long story short , all the fish were in danger .....
get this action though , at one point I didn't like where I was ....
not enough bites ....
went to move and ripped my float and jig back to me
a small 12 inch bass smashed it halfway back to me ....
that pit stop had really clear water and he or she was really frisky ....
when it got to my feet ...A TRUE MONSTER BASS just hammered it and hammered it OVER and OVER ....just WOW would that have been a video ...
never ever seen a big bass try to eat a small bass before ...
JUST WOW !
p.s. really slow afternoon for whatever reason , only 66 fish came to hand ...my bad
AND nonetheless ,,,,,KABOOM is still near ,,,,just saying

I love the variety pack days and you certainly had one of those. Last year the bass were on fire trying to eat my bluegill and quite a few actually did. Got my PB bass last year on a bluegill that I was reeling in. Later had a bass eat a small bass at the bank and caught it. Little bass was still alive and swam off strong so got to release two bass from one cast. Is that a double. This year so far haven't even had a follow. Certainly gets that blood pumping when those big one's show up wanting your hooked fish, would have made a cool video.

when we visit there less than a 100 assorted fish each ,equals something ain't right , it was over cast and a few cows were laying down and there was an east wind and my jig was the wrong color and the .......Originally Posted by SuperDave336
