    Default Prayers needed

Once Again, Been putting off my knee waiting on Ms. Joyce's to get better after her surgery. I called to see about getting back on the list, and because it's been more than 6 months, we get to start back at square one with the specialist. So in 36 days, I start with a consult, and see where we go from there...Prayers please...

Ms. Joyce just brought up a bit of unwanted theory, The Dr may have me go through all the previous stuff again. Like seeing the sports injury specialist that did the Bi-lateral injections. then x-rays, then the MRI then decide to do the knee. Sometimes I feel its more about...hey this is the VA, lets get some $'s more than, lets get this patient well.....

There are steps that insurance companies (gates as it were) before the insurance will cover procedures. I went through the same thing with my knee replacement as well as lumbar and cervical ablations. I know it’s crazy but that’s the insurance industry Eric. Prayers going up. It is a long and arduous process so keep your nose to the grindstone.

May the path to a successful procedure and recovery not be as distant and difficult as they may seem. I pray, in Jesus name, for both you and Ms. Joyce. Amen.

Insurance would have to be to protect her. But we are dealing with the VA here, yep, I'll agree. This has been a very LOOONG drawn out process. Started a back on my first tour of Germany, many, many misdiagnoses, and more pain, and swellings than I care to think about. With the Lords hands on this, I pray it finally gets taken care of...

It has always been an awful story, Eric. As said above, stick to the grindstone. A lot of what the VA is about is bad, that’s for sure.

Doctors don't make any money on healthy people, more appt's = more money. We have a messed up system, All Insurance!

The entire reason our general pract. doc. of 35 years just retired.
