she used a pink and white tube plastic on her purple jig head and one of those there $ 9.98 Zebco combos and to be very sure .....
ketched her PB white crappie !
we measured it and set it free ....17.5 inches of man is that a dandy summertime white crappie fish specimen .....and....
just WOW what a jim dandy ballcap ....no boat or ffs required ....

A big ole bucket mouth black bass came along too on the other side of the walkway ......
it for sure was NOT the day to show up with my 4 lb mono and just play with them ....

That slab is huge and it certainly looks like a bass at first glance, had to do a double take on that one. Bigger than most of the bass I've caught this year too. Was your jig that you lost still in it's mouth? If not you might have had a school of giants swim through and it wasn't the same one. That one deserves to have a replica mount made, look at the mouth on that fish, it's huge!!
No jig in it’s mouth or any sign of ever being hooked , the dock had a high number of really large crappie under it that day and lately it is that way ,and VERY lethargic, right on the bottom to get a bite and NEVER know you have a bite till you try to move your jig![]()
