    Default SKUNK sizes ..... ?

So to better understand something that I personally try to avoid like a plague , help a fella out .....
is there such a thing as BIG huge skunk ?
and then such a thing as a wee lil baby skunk too ?
I often wonder these things in my travels ....
Sunday morning was one them almost got "skunked" days ...
of course we did NOT get a big huge skunk
and we didn't even get a wee lil baby skunk either ....
but we played with them some and even the mom was right friendly too ....
not sure why we didn't get skunked but to be SURE ....
we was WAY too close to them to not get skunked ....
( Do Not play with Skunks please , this here is some not so professional folks doing this and it is NOT recommended for the average crew ) but ....
them things were just about as cute and friendly as any baby wild things I EVER seen ....
been wondering who was making all the den sights around the place lately
kinda thunk skunks ,the more than abundant rainfall this year has all the local critters thriving in big numbers....
yes I know they make great pets , but we do not need a new pet ......
keep in mind this about that , skunked has multiple meanings and even possibly sizes ,depending on the scenarios involved .....
p.s. the runt was super adorable and 2 of the 4 babies were protecting the lil runt bigtime and man were they some chatty lil buggers as well .....
and sometimes NO KABOOM can be a good thing as well , just saying

locally the adult ones ALWAYS have the tails on full high in these parts , rarely drag them tails here ....
them lil ones was just hilarious bro , they would toss them straight up and twitch them when we got right up on top of them , but I don't think they had water in them water pistols just yet ....not sure , but there was zero odor to them and mom was very cool about it all ....
think she might a been a bit tired of trying to keep them in line ....
they are supposed to stay lined up behind her ....but they were not doing a great job of that at all ....
she kept coming back to them and snatching one and tossing it in front of her ,while the other 3 just ignored her
there was about a ton of skunk chatting going on as well and one was a big time rascal that wandered around like crazy ...
the other 3 were in a small pack and the 2 larger ones were really protecting the runt ....
super cool for sure , never been that close without getting it good is me ....for sure

someone sounds a bit chicken to me bro ......
stay up wind or cross wind from them , do not really push them , watch for the "stance" and keep your distance at about 8 to10 feet cross wind or upwind .....ours don't back up like some do , they will flat out charge head first into whatever is perceived as an imminent threat ....
and I am not so sure about the mom and babies thing as of yet either ....
our dog found a den hole with a mom and babies in it ,by our house in town last week ....
and dug them up fast and never got sprayed either ....
we pulled her off them before she actually grabbed one , but still no spray ? not sure why ?
we almost got skunked twice in one week .....

Those little fellas are cute. I still don't think I'd want to get near any of them. Better safe than washing in tomato soup.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
