    Default Rail mounted rodholders


    Trying to find a set or 2 of some rail (round...7/8", I believe) mount rod holders (3-4 holders along a bar of sorts) and having some difficulty locating something already manufactured. Looking to add one to each side of the siderail on a 15' Boston Whaler. These would be mainly used for longlining.

    I've seen a few that I like (Millenium or Brocraft) with adjustable height/angle holders, but would have to fabricate some sort of base to clamp on rail in order to make work.

    Any suggestions?

    I used Beeready mounts when I had my larger boat. They are excellent. Products – Page 4 – Bee Ready Fishing

    There are a bunch on Amazon. Plastic or stainless of several design types.

    If my boat didnt have already it I would install a T track system and build from there

    Here's mine. Note there is a T-bar with 2 rod holders mounted on the rail by one rail clamp...(I also have single rod holders mounted on the rail for catfishing)

    Thanks for the info, y'all.

    The cheap Amazon ones are probably what I will end up going with. Was hoping to not have to do any fabrication and get a single mount to rail with multiple holders so I could remove fairly easily when not in use and using the boat to pull a tube or whatever.

    Trying not to drill any more holes in the boat, although I keep thinking about having the hull totally redone, but if I did that, I'd have to get a new, shiny motor!
